Stella Maris College is a private, Catholic, learning institution run by the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary. It is located in Cubao, Quezon City, Philippines.
On June 13, 1955, and in honor of Mary, hence the title “Stella Maris”, the school started offering student programs from kindergarten to senior high school. Eventually, a college department was built in 1968 but was also phased out in 1975 as they started incurring more maintenance costs.
SMC made its full implementation of the K-12 Program in Academic Year 2016-2017. Students who wish to take up STEM or HUMSS strands in senior high are welcome to enroll in this school. It also implements the Central Visayan Institute Foundation - Dynamic Learning Program - Spirituality as Core of the Curriculum (CVIF-DLP-SCC) for Grades 5 up to high school. SMC is a member of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines. It believes that, as an educational institution that provides transformative learning opportunities to its students, its graduates and its entire community greatly help in nation-building.
