The Professional Academy of the Philippines (PAP) is a higher educational institution in Naga, Cebu. It was established in 2005 as the Criminology Forensic Investigation and Law Enforcement (F.I.L.E.) Academy in Cebu City. It initially offered BS Criminology, and after some time, programs in Information Technology, Education,b and Hotel and Restaurant Management were opened for college students. In 2009, PAP extended its services in Naga; a new building was constructed; and, as years passed, facilities were added like a criminology laboratory, a mock hotel, a computer laboratory, and audio-visual/ amphitheater rooms.
At present, PAP provides programs from the preschool to the college level. Its basic education department includes a Senior High School (SHS) program, with selected strands from the Academic and the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) tracks. Its college department, on the other hand, has five academic units: Criminology, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Computer Studies, Education, and Engineering.
The Professional Academy of the Philippines (PAP) and its programs are duly acknowledged by the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
