Laguna College (LC) is an academic institution in San Pablo City, Laguna. It was first established in 1923 by Don Zacarias B. Sahagun and Don Melecio Fule. It is the first private non-sectarian school in Laguna, and initially only had 16 students. Now, Laguna College aims to cultivate the Filipino values within every student and provide the knowledge of the arts, the sciences, and love of country.
LC offers the following undergraduate programs: Accountancy, Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, Elementary and Secondary Education, English, Industrial and Civil Engineering, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Information Technology, Nursing and Psychology. They also offer graduate studies and a Masters degree in Education, Business Management, and Public Administration. They also offer basic education from kindergarten up to Grade 6. They have a special science curriculum for junior high school, and offers STEM, HUMSS, ABM and GAS for senior high school.
True to its mission, Laguna College continues to pursue academic excellence. This is evident with its recent feats in various competitions not only in the country but also in Australia and Singapore. Some of the competitions are Math Olympiad, Regional Science Quest, MTAP Department of Education Math Challenge, Impromptu Speaking Contests, Quiz Bees, and many more.
