Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary is an official institution of the International Board of Education of the Church of the Nazarene. Both the curriculum and teaching are guided by the mission, primary and critical objectives, agreed statement of belief, and articles of faith of the Church of the Nazarene; campus community life is shaped by a commitment to the covenant of Christian character and conduct of the Church of the Nazarene.
Founded in 1983 as the regional center for graduate ministerial education on the Asia-Pacific region of the Church of the Nazarene, APNTS welcomes students from a variety of denominational backgrounds and affiliations who seek to reflect deeply upon Christian faith and life, develop strongly the competencies necessary for effective and fruitful practices of ministry, and share creatively and dynamically the message of transformation in Christ through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
