About this course

Bachelor of Technical Teacher Education is a four-year ladderized degree program that provides students with the knowledge and skills to teach technical-vocational courses like Automotive, Electrical, Civil and Drafting technology, Food and Service Management and many more. It aims to equip students with a strong theoretical understanding of teaching and technology. The Bachelor of Technical Teacher Education program inculcates in students a deep understanding of the teaching and learning principles and theories needed in teaching technical-vocational courses. It also discusses how the educational processes relate to larger historical, social, cultural and political processes.

About the Provider

Valenzuela City Polytechnic College, formerly Valenzuela Manpower, is a public technical college established in 1982. It is located in Barangay Parada, Valenzuela City.

Commonly known as “Val Poly”, the school offers a wide array of programs. Course offerings include a four-year ladderized degree program in Technical Teacher Education, a two-year course in Computer Technology and short-term technical courses in Electrical Installation Maintenance, Dressmaking, Bread and Pastry Production, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Consumer Electronics Servicing. Also offered is a senior high school program featuring various Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) specializations. Throughout its history, the Valenzuela City Polytechnic College continues to provide Valenzuelanos with quality technical instruction and training essential to fulfill their dreams and to become good assets of their respective communities.
