About this course

The Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy (BS RT) is a four-year degree program that provides students with an intensive foundation in evaluating, treating, and caring for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. Students are trained to perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care procedures and focus on the promotion of cardiopulmonary wellness, disease prevention and management.

Freshman Admission Requirements:
Admission Requirements - Freshmen: 1. Secure an application form from the Administration Office at the ground floor, PRIFI Building. The applicant will take the entrance examination on a preferred date. 2. Applicants aspiring for scholarship must secure the appropriate form. An average grade of 83% is required. 3. After having passed the entrance examination, the aspirant must submit the following: • Form 137 (High School Report Card) • Photocopy of Birth Certificate • Certificate of Good Moral Character

Transferees Admission Requirements:
Admission Requirements - Transferees: The applicant will have to take the entrance examination and must reach the required cut-off score. After having passed the entrance examination, the aspirant must submit the following: 1. Honorable Dismissal 2. Certificate of Grades or class cards 3. Transcript of Records 4. Course Description

Foreign Students Admission Requirements:
Admission Requirements - Foreign Students: The PRIFI has been granted the authority to accept foreign students by the Bureau of Immigration with AAFS No. ADD 01-176. Rules and regulations for foreign students need to be complied with prior to the start of admission procedures.
