About this course

The medical course in the INSTITUTE OF Medicine conforms to the basic requisites of the Philippine Medical 164:Teaching & Academics:Law. The course consists of four years of academic instruction including one year of full time clerkship training in accredited hospitals. The first two years of the course are devoted to the study of the fundamental sciences using the unified organ system approach. Exposure to clinical materials using the actual case studies is started on the second year. In the third year, the principle of interactive clinical studies are applied which is continued in the fourth year with actual patient exposure and handling. A program of practical work in home patient care and preceptorship in general practice under approved medical practitioners are given. The students gain insight into the problems of medical care in the home and in ordinary medical practice in the Philippines, inculcating social accountability. The FEU-NRMF Medical Center is the major training hospital for the clinical clerks. About the Provider

Far Eastern University Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (FEU NRMF) was founded in 1971. It offers undergraduate programs in Medical Technology, Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Radiologic Technology, and Respiratory Therapy. It also offers a Doctorate program in Medicine.
