About this course

The Master of Arts in Education program (MAED) is a two-year graduate program that reinforces the students’ understanding of educational theories, concepts, curriculum, and instructional techniques in order to further advance in their professional careers. It enhances the teachers’ theoretical and technical knowledge in teaching a specific subject area or professional area and prepares students for various administrative and supervisory positions in elementary, secondary, post-secondary and vocational programs. The program also gives emphasis on research and is geared towards equipping students with a variety of tools, techniques, and methodologies for conducting, critiquing, and evaluating research in education.

About the Provider

Arellano University is a private, coeducational and nonsectarian university located in Manila, Philippines. It was founded in 1938 as a law school by Florentino Cayco, Sr., the first Filipino Undersecretary of Public Instruction.
