About this course

The Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication program of AMA Computer University is a ten-trimester program designed to provide a world-class bachelor’s education in Mass Communication that is not only nationally accredited but also globally competitive and to produce graduates who will be professionally competent, morally upright, and socially responsible contributors to national development. The curriculum is based on the standards and minimum requirement of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and is benchmarked from the curricula of leading academic institutions, national and international, offering similar program. Program Objectives The program leading to the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication has the following objectives: The program introduces the students to the nature, theories, concepts and practices of communication through Print, Broadcast, Electronic and the Performing Arts. Furthermore, the program equips the students with the necessary professional competencies to excel in their field of specialization. To enable students to obtain a comprehensive knowledge and deep understanding of the field of Mass Communication. About the Provider

AMA College Makati is a branch of the AMA Colleges under the AMA Education System, the country’s first and largest ICT university in the Philippines. The school provides a wide array of courses which include, Accountancy, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mass Communication, Nursing, and Psychology.

The institution is one of the biggest campuses of AMA Colleges. With facilities and activities intended to provide students convenient means to acquire tech skills needed in the actual workplace, the institution does produce highly competent graduates. It also houses the facilities and classes for AMA School of Medicine, which is also a member of the AMA Education System.
 
In addition to undergraduate and graduate programs, AMA Makati also offers Senior High School (SHS) Academic strands such as Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Accounting, Business, and Management (ABM), Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS), and the General Academic Strand (GAS). Its Technical-Vocational-Livelihood track, on the other hand, provides ICT and Home Economics strands.
