Aviation Electronics Technology
The Aviation Electronics Technology is a specialization within electronic maintenance and repair in aircraft electronic systems with emphasis placed on communication, navigation and flight management systems. A UPHSD graduate Aviation Electronics Technology program will attain: 1. An ability to be familiarize with the basic parts and principles of flight 2. An ability to understand and applying the principles, theories and concepts regarding aircraft electrical/electronics parts, components and systems 3. An ability to recognize the concept in operation, servicing and maintenance of aircraft component 4. An ability to be able to follow procedures, direction and written instruction according in AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE MANUAL (AMM) WIRING DIAGRAM MANUAL (WDM) COMPONENT MAINTENANCE MANUAL (CMM) 5. An ability to have knowledge in aircraft maintenance practices 6. An ability to understand the regulation particularly in aviation airworthiness The Aviation Electronics Technology program has a total of 198 credit units.
