The University of the Visayas – Dalaguete Campus is one of the satellite campuses of the University of the Visayas (UV) in Cebu. The main campus along Colon Street in Cebu City was founded as the Visayan Institue in 1919. This private university system now has nine satellite campuses in the province.
UV Dalaguete currently provides programs for senior high school and college students. The SHS department has the Academic and the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) Tracks available. The college department, on the other hand, offers bachelor's degree courses in Teacher Education, Criminology, Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, and Information Technology. The campus, as part of the UV system, is duly acknowledged by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Department of Education (DepEd).
