University of the Philippines Cebu

University of the Philippines Cebu (UP Cebu) is part of the the University of the Philippines System which has campuses in Diliman, Manila, Los Baños, Baguio, Pampanga, Visayas, and Mindanao. It was established in 1918, making it the oldest UP campus outside of Luzon.

UP Cebu offers undergraduate and graduate degrees through its four colleges: School of Management, College of Science, College of Social Sciences, and College of Communication, Arts, and Design. It has also expanded its graduate programs by opening the UP Professional Schools.

UP Cebu's excellence can be seen through its graduates and recognitions. It takes pride in their alumni who have gone to become recognized leaders in the fields of arts, journalism, management, politics and governance, human resource development, industrial relations, and development work. It is also a recipient of the Center of Excellence in Information Technology Education award by the Philippine government’s Commission on Higher Education (CHED) given in 2007 through its Department of Computer Science.
