The program is designed in answer to the pressing need for statistical expertise by those engaged in scientific research in gathering science-based information for decision making. The program shall prepare professional and practicing statisticians to become competent managers, planners and decision-makers. This program is offered in consortium with the National Statistics Office (NSO). The National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) are implementing the HRD Assistance Packages for the Union of Myanmar and Cambodia, respectively, through acceptance of scholars in this program from these countries.
Graduate Admission Requirements:
1. Original and Photocopy/CTC of Transcript of Records (from the school last attended) 2. Original and Photocopy of Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) authenticated Birth Certificate 3. Original and Photocopy of PSA authenticated Marriage Certificate (for female married applicant only) 4. Softcopy of recent ID picture, 2"x2" (with complete name and in formal attire w/ white background) - for online application 5. Downloaded and signed GSEE Application Form, attached with 2”x2” ID picture that you uploaded during online application 6. Downloaded payment voucher Original copy of the following: 1. Certificate of Employment or Service Record (if employed) 2. Certificate of Good Moral Character (from employer) or Brgy. Certificate/Clearance from NBI/Police within the last 6 months 3. Medical Certificate within the last 6 months (“Fit to Study”) Additional Requirements for GSEE Passers: 1. Updated Curriculum Vitae/Resume (including research works and publications, if any) 2. A two-page, double spaced write up discussing or describing the research area, idea, or interest that the applicant would like to investigate in his/her thesis/dissertation. The write-up should be on short bond paper and encoded using Arial font size 12 3. One long brown envelope Admission Prerequisites 1. Bachelor's Degree - Appropriate or related to the program if the bachelor’s degree is in another field, the applicant has to make up for deficiencies by taking 18 units of pre-degree courses prescribed in the relevant program of studies in this University. 2. Grade Requirement - A scholastic rating of at least 2.0, B, 85% or better in the undergraduate courses 3. Qualify in the admission examination 4. Pass the interview by the Program Chair and/or the Dean
