Number of Hours:               4-6 Months or 250 Hours – Facilitated Self-Paced Online Program

                                                10 Days Straight of 80 Hours – Skills Training

                                                1 Month or 100 Hours – Clinical Rotation

                                                1 Month or 100 Hours – Ambulance Rotation

Course Description:

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is an Allied Health Professional whose primary focus is to provide Emergency Medical Care for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system. This individual possesses the complex knowledge and skills necessary to stabilize and safely transport patients ranging from non-emergency and routine medical transports to life threatening emergencies.

 

EMTs function as part of a comprehensive Emergency Medical Services (EMS) response, under medical oversight. EMTs perform interventions with the basic and advanced equipment typically found on an ambulance. The EMT is a link from the scene into the health care system.

 

Our course program adheres to the US Department of Transportation (USDOT), National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) National Standard Curriculum for EMT and National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician.

  1. Online Didactic Program – 250 hrs

 

Module 1 (Foundation of EMS and Basic Life Support)

Module 2 (Airway Management, Respiration and Artificial Ventilation)

Module 3 (Patient Assessment)

Module 4 (Medical Emergencies)

Module 5 (Trauma Emergencies)

Module 6 (Special Population)

Module 7 (Operation)

 

  1. Skills Boot Camp – 10 Days (80 Hours)

 

 

Lifting and Moving

Airway Management

Cardiac Arrest Management

Patient Assessment – Medical

Patient Assessment - Trauma

Ambulance Operation

Mass Casualty Incident and Disaster Response

 

 

  1. Clinical Rotation: 100 hours

 

  1. Ambulance Rotation:100 hours

 

NOTE: Upon end of the training course, Participants will receive “Certificate of Completion”.

 

Educational Requirments: At least High School Graduate

Physical Fitness Requirments: Physically Fit to work as EMT

Technical Requirments: Mobile Device that can connect to internet for online study
