Malayan Colleges Laguna

Malayan Colleges Laguna (MCL) was established in 1925 as part of the Mapua system and eventually became its own campus in 2006. The school was built in fulfillment of the long-term development plan of Mapua. Today, MCL stands on a six-hectare piece land in Laguna, one of CALABARZON’s industrial and commercial hubs.

MCL aims to provide an excellent learning environment that will mold its students into becoming socially responsive and competent individuals. The institution is open to Senior High School students who want to take the Academic and Technical-Vocational-Livelihood Tracks. It also offers undergraduate courses in the fields of maritime education, technology, computer and information science, and business, as well as arts and sciences.

In January 2007, the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) gave the approval for MCL to offer 8 programs of study in Engineering, Information Technology and Business. The school has also bagged the ABET seal of quality education. The seal is awarded to educational institutions whose programs enable its graduates to meet international standards.
