Imus Institute

Imus Institute of Science and Technology (IIST) is the first private school that offered a government-recognized complete high school program in Cavite. The Institute traces its roots to the Ymus Central Academy, with elementary and high school programs, incorporated in 1923. Five years later, during the administration of Dr. Eugenio Villanueva Sr., the academy was renamed to Imus Institute and became exclusive for high school students. In 1952, Imus Institute started providing college programs, like Secretarial and Liberal Arts courses.

At present, Imus Institute has two campuses: one along Nueno Avenue and the other in Dimasalang Subdivision. IIST offers undergraduate degree courses in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Business Administration, Elementary and Secondary Education, Communication, Computer Science, Hospitality and Tourism Management, and Electronics and Computer Engineering. Also available in IIST is a master's degree program in Business Administration. Imus Institute is also a TESDA Accredited Assessment Center for courses such as Cookery, Electronics Products Assembly and Servicing, and Food and Beverage Services.
