MA in Letters

Graduate Admission Requirements:
1. Applicant must secure an endorsement form at the Admissions Office. Non-FEU Graduates (for Initial Evaluation) - Photocopy of Transcript of Records (TOR) with computed General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 2.0 or it's equivalent - Photocopy of diploma - Photocopy of license, if applicable. FEU Graduates (Final Evaluation) - Photocopy of Transcript of Records (TOR) with computed General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 2.0 or it's equivalent - Photocopy of diploma - Photocopy of license, if applicable. - Photocopy of NSO Birth Certificate - Photocopy of NSO Marriage Certificate (for married women) - One (1) page, single spaced essay stating the reasons for taking graduate studies, and area of concentration. - Satisfactory performance in the Graduate Level Test (GLT). - Two (2) sealed recommendation letters from current/former employers or former professors. 2. The evaluation by the program head will determine whether the applicant is qualified to apply for the graduate level test or take supplemental/bridging courses prior to his/her application for the graduate program by the program head • FEU graduates are exempted from the GLT 2. Applicant must return the endorsement form at the admissions office and register online. 3. Non-FEU Graduates, after passing the GLT, must submit the following requirements: - Original Transcript of Records with computed General Weighted Average 2. (GWA) of at least 2.0 or it's equivalent - Original Transfer Credential / Honorable Dismissal or Certificate of Non-Issuance of Transfer Credentials - Photocopy of NSO Birth certificate - Photocopy of NSO Marriage Certificate (for married women) - One (1) page, single spaced essay stating the reasons for taking graduate studies, and area of concentration. - Satisfactory performance in the Graduate Level Test (GLT). - Two (2) sealed recommendation letters from current/former employers or former professors. 4. Applicant will then be advised to go to the institute Dean / Program Head 5. The successful applicant will be advised to return to AFA for the enrollment date and procedure.
