BS in Computer Science with Specialization in Network Engineering
The growing reliance of businesses and individuals on the Internet, as well as the large-scale interconnection of computer-based systems in today's world gives rise to the need for individuals who possess the skills and knowledge of designing, managing and securing multi-platform corporate and service provider computer networks. The Network Engineering program answers this need with a program that combines a Computer Science curriculum and a Cisco Networking Academy training program. Graduates of this program have the necessary hard and soft skills to be highly productive in industry, and are highly eligible to pursue careers as network engineers, network administrators, network security administrators, network designers, firmware developers, network analysts, and network auditors.
Freshman Admission Requirements:
Admission Requirements - Freshmen: 1. Certified Correct Secondary Scholastic Record 2. Two (2) Recommendation Forms from any of the following: • 3rd or 4th year High School Subject Teachers • -3rd or 4th year High School Class Adviser • 3rd or 4th year High School Guidance Counselor 3. Two (2) identical passport photographs 4. A photocopy of National Statistics Office (NSO) Birth Certificate (or any valid substitute) for Filipino Citizens 5. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) official test results (in lieu of DLSU College Admission Test (DCAT))
Transferees Admission Requirements:
Admission Requirements - Transferees: 1. Transcript of Records (TOR) with grading system or copy of grades issued by the Registrar to admissions@dlsu.edu.ph. 2. Online Undergraduate application Form 3. Two (2) recommendations (Use the DLSU Recommendation Form) from any two of the following: • Dean • Department Head • Professor • Guidance Counselor 4. Three (3) identical passport photographs 5. A photocopy of National Statistics (NSO) Birth Certificate for Filipino Citizen (or any valid certificate) 6. Certificate of Good Moral Character 7. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) official test results (in lieu of DLSU College Admission Test (DCAT))
Foreign Students Admission Requirements:
Admission Requirements - Foreign Students: 1. Certified Correct Secondary Scholastic Records • High school graduates must submit a photocopy of the 4th year high school report card. • International student applicants must submit a photocopy of the secondary school Transcript of Records. 2. Two (2) identical passport photographs 4. Photocopy of Birth Certificate, ACR/IR or passport for non-Filipino citizens 5. Foreign Second Admission Requirements:
Admission Requirements - Second Coursers: 1. Completely filled out Pre-Application Form.download 2. Application letter addressed to the Admissions Committee stating reasons for a second undergraduate degree. 3. Official Transcript of Records (TOR) with date of graduation. 4. Letter of Recommendation from Dean/Chair of the college/department where the first undergraduate degree was taken. 5. Certificate of Good Moral Character from the previous College/University.
