The Bachelor of Arts in Political Science program of AMA Computer University is a ten-trimester program. Recognition The AB Political Science curriculum is based from the standards and minimum requirement of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and is benchmarked from the curriculum of leading international academic institutions offering this program. Intakes: Three intakes per year First Trimester: May to August Second Trimester: September to December Third Trimester: January to April Program Objectives The program leading to the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Political Science has the following objectives: To expose the students to the theories, practices and realities of political conditions and governance not only locally, but also nationally and internationally. It also provides opportunities for the students to understand better the different types of governments existing in major countries in Asia, the Americas and Europe, and also the intricacies of democratic republican states like the Philippines. To enable students to obtain a comprehensive knowledge and deep understanding of the field of Political Science. To enable students to acquire the theoretical and practical skills needed to be globally competitive and nationally recognized Political Scientist. To enable students to get a broad liberal education in the arts and letters, social sciences and philosophy, natural science and mathematics. To enable students to develop the cultural sensitivity, ethical responsibility, and social consciousness needed to become upright citizens of the Philippines and the world. Possible Careers After graduation, they may enter many different careers, including government service, education, political consulting, journalism, and business. Note: This should be a school to school transaction to ensure it's authenticity 5. Certificate of Good Moral Character 6. 2x2 picture (for 201 file of students) 7. 1x1 picture (for ID purposes)

Transferees Admission Requirements:
Admission Requirements - Transferees: 1. Accomplished Application Form 2. Honorable Dismissal / Transfer Credentials 3. Certificate of Good Moral Character 4. Temporary Transcript / Certificate of Grades for evaluation purposes 5. Official transcript of records to be sent by the previous school with a notation: Copy For AMA University, Project & QC 6. Subject description taken from the previous school 7. 2x2 picture (for 201 file of students) 8. 1x1 picture (for ID purposes)
