Established to produce competent engineers and architects, Central Colleges of the Philippines (CCP) began on January 18, 1954 as the Polytechnic Colleges of the Philippines under the management of former Mapua Institute of Technology Dean Gonzalo Vales. It was changed to its current name after opening a high school department and offering arts and business courses. Guided by their mission and vision, CCP continues to uphold their tradition of excellence through various university rankings and board exam results.
Currently, the Central Colleges of the Philippines offers Bachelor Degrees in Accountancy, Architecture, Arts & Sciences, and Computer Studies. The university also provides courses on Education, Engineering, and Hospitality & Tourism Management. CCP also has senior high school and junior high school programs. Professionals may also enroll in their postgraduate studies program.
Accredited by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA), the Central Colleges of the Philippines has been consistent in producing passers in psychometrician, teacher education, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering board examinations. CCP also received a Diploma of Services award from the Philippine Red Cross for their continued assistance on their advocacies.
