Cebu Technological University – Daanbantayan Campus is one of the nine campuses of the Cebu Technological University (CTU) system. The campus was formerly known as the Manuel A. Roxas School of Fisheries and was established in 1948. It is considered to be the oldest known fishery school in the country. In 1983, the school became part of the system, when the university was still known as the Cebu State College of Science and Technology.
CTU-Daanbantayan currently offers undergraduate programs in Fisheries, Industrial Technology, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Hospitality Management, and Teacher Education. As part of the Cebu Technological University system, the campus and its programs are duly recognized by the Commission on Higher Education. Additionally, the university system is also covered by the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act, allowing students to study in any of the campuses for free.
