PhD in Computer Science

The Department of Information Systems and Computer Science of the Ateneo de Manila University offers a Ph.D. Program in Computer Science. This program is directed at students who intend to pursue careers in computer science research and education. Using a combination of instructional delivery and assessment techniques such as traditional classroom instruction, laboratory work, online learning, and seminar courses, the students will hone their competencies in computer science fundamentals and develop their capacity to undertake independent research. The program is open to applicants with bachelors’ degrees in Computer Science or related fields. Master’s students or graduates may also apply. Crediting of master’s-level courses is subject to the department’s discretion.
