Asian Institute of Journalism and Communication (AIJC) is a Knowledge Management Center founded in 1980. It was built as a graduate school of journalism, with the belief that communication is a vital development resource to be used to advance the common good.

AIJC offers graduate studies in journalism, communication, and knowledge management. It also has a research and project management firm that advocates policies and implements programs that concerns development issues both in the communities and the whole nation. AIJC's ICT for Development (ICT4D) Unit promotes the use of ICT in various human development endeavors like capability-building, content development, and research about the impact of ICT in the society.

AIJC constantly reinvents its programs to make it more relevant and responsive to an evolving society but still remains committed to its mandate of communication for development. An example of this is its alliance with New Coropration, a Philippine Stock Exchange publicly-listed telecommunications, media and technology company. This was done because of the technology-driven changes in today's media landscape.
