Union College of Laguna (UCL) is a private school in the municipality of Santa Cruz, Laguna. It was founded by veteran educator Dr. Enrique Sobrepeña in 1947. The school was established to bring quality and affordable education to students who are not fortunate enough to go to Manila to study for college.
Currently, Union College provides basic and higher education programs. Its School of Integrated Preparatory Studies (UCSIPS) caters to preschool and elementary students. It also has a Senior High School (SHS) department that offers selected strands from the Academic and the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) tracks. The college department, on the other hand, has degree courses in Teacher Education, Criminology, Social Sciences, Information Technology, and Business Administration. Additionally, graduate programs in Public Administration and in Education are available for college graduates who wish to pursue further studies.
