About this course

The Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology (BS MT) is a four-year degree program that equips students with knowledge and skills in laboratory tests used in the detection, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases. Students will also learn how to use modern equipment, instruments and scientific methods to provide accurate laboratory results.

About the Provider

San Juan De Dios Educational Foundation Inc. (SJDEFI) is a private institution operating as a school and hospital in Pasay City.  

The San Juan de Dios Educational Foundation, formerly known as Hospital de San Juan de Dios, started out as a hospital in 1578. The said hospital is considered as the oldest hospital in the Philippines.

Aside from Nursing and Medical Technology, SJDEFI offers courses in Physical Therapy and Hotel and Restaurant Management. In addition to undergraduate programs, the school also has a Senior High School program featuring Academic and Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) strands.
