The curriculum at the PRI College of Sciences is a 4-year enriched program as noted in the addition of a foreign language, which is Spanish. In the English subjects, TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is integrated to significantly help you in the mastery of this language, which is of utmost importance when you choose to work overseas. During the second semester of the graduating students, review program on CGFNS/NCLEX, & TOEFL-iBt will be offered to facilitate and enhance employability in the U.S. And other countries. It is a privilege to have the San Fernandino Hospital located at the City of San Fernando, Pampanga as the base hospital of the Nursing Course of the PRI-Guagua campus and the St. Martin de Porres Charity Hospital in San Juan, Metro Manila for the PRI-Quezon City campus. The hospitals are tertiary referral hospitals, which are departmentalized and teaching hospitals. The exposure, experience and sharing of skills and expertise with the clinical instructors will be most valuable to you as clinical application of your theoretical background is of paramount importance. Job Outlook The Nursing Profession has expanded and the demand has grown at an accelerated rate in recent years especially in the first world countries. This is attributed to the low population rate and the difficulty in pursuing the nursing course in these countries. Retirement of middle-aged and older nurses has depleted the workforce globally in recent years. As necessary, the outsourcing of nursing graduates from other countries has resulted in the recent demand for nursing professionals. It is noteworthy to emphasize how significant nursing graduates have become to hospital operations and the substantial part they play in the healthcare workforce. As the population grows, more hospitals, medical centers, and outpatient clinics will be established and subsequently, more nurses will be needed to serve the greater number of patients. Freshman Admission Requirements:Admission Requirements - Freshmen: 1. Secure an application form from the Administration Office at the ground floor, PRIFI Building. The applicant will take the entrance examination on a preferred date. 2. Applicants aspiring for scholarship must secure the appropriate form. An average grade of 83% is required. 3. After having passed the entrance examination, the aspirant must submit the following: • Form 137 (High School Report Card) • Photocopy of Birth Certificate • Certificate of Good Moral Character

Foreign Students Admission Requirements:Admission Requirements - Foreign Students: The PRIFI has been granted the authority to accept foreign students by the Bureau of Immigration with AAFS No. ADD 01-176.
