About this course
The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BS IS) is a four-year degree program that deals with the design and implementation of solutions that integrate information technology with business processes. The program teaches students about hardware and software applications and how they can use them to collect, filter, process, create and distribute data. It also focuses on the design, development and implementation of information and communications technology (ICT) resources to ensure that information systems applications can be used in various industry sectors such as business, education, media and entertainment, healthcare, government, and service.

Freshman Admission Requirements:Admission Requirements - Freshmen: 1. Benilde Admissions Application Form 2. Secondary Scholastic Record accomplished by the high school registrar with school seal 3. Two (2) Benilde Recommendation Forms including one from the principal, assistant principal or discipline head and the counselor or homeroom adviser 4. Three (3) copies of recent identical 2x2 pictures 5. Photocopy of National Statistics Office birth certificate Important! There are other requirements for applicants who changed schools during high school, high school graduates who have never entered college, international students, Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) and Bureau of Alternative Learning Systems (BALS) cases and non-Filipino and dual citizens. Transferees Admission Requirements:Admission Requirements - Transferees: 1. Benilde Admissions Application Form 2. Certificate of Good Moral Character from all schools attended. 3. Three (3) copies of recent identical 2x2 pictures 4. Photocopy of National Statistics Office birth certificate Important! There are other application requirements for transferees with no more than one year of tertiary schooling, transferees who attended other tertiary schools, transferees who studied abroad, and international applicants. Please refer to the The Benilde Book. Helpful Tip! The Transfer Credential (Honorable Dismissal) is a requirement for reservation of slots. It would be good to request this from your last school attended early.
Foreign Students Admission Requirements:Admission Requirements - Foreign Students: 1. Benilde Admissions Application Form 2. Three (3) copies of recent identical 2x2 pictures 3. Certified true copy of birth certificate 4. Certificate of Good Moral Character or Letter of Recommendation from the Principal or School Head of all schools attended 5. Photocopy of Alien Certificate of Registration (for permanent residents only) 6. Certificate of Graduation and/or Diploma (for freshmen applicants only) 7. Secondary Scholastic Record with official school seal (for applicants who studied in Philippine schools only) 8. Two copies of original Transcript of Records authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post. If these records are written in a language other than English, complete and official English translations must be submitted together with the original records. The transcript should indicate all subjects taken and grades earned. The grading system should be clearly stated in the transcript. 9. For submission after acceptance to Benilde, photocopy of Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) results taken within 2 years from date of application (Present original for verification). This is NOT an admission requirement but is used for confirmation and enrollment purposes only. - Applicants born and raised in countries with English as one of it's official languages. - Applicants who studied for 3 consecutive school years in the secondary and/or tertiary level, in an intermediate school or an English-speaking school. Applicants from English-speaking schools must submit a statement from their school that the institution uses English as a medium of instruction signed by the Registrar and affixed with the school seal. Upon submission of complete application requirements and payment of the application processing fee, the applicant will be given a Benildean Entrance Examination (BEE) test permit.
Foreign Second Admission Requirements:Admission Requirements - Second Coursers: 1. Benilde Admissions Application Form 2. Photocopy of National Statistics Office birth certificate 3. Photocopy of the official Transcript of Records (present original for verification) 4. Certification from the Dean or Registrar stating that the applicant was never involved in any offense that called for disciplinary sanction (s) 5. Three (3) copies of recent identical 2x2 pictures 6. About the Provider
De La Salle College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) or simply, Benilde, began as a night school for working professionals in 1988, DLS-CSB now continues to blaze a trail by offering innovative programs with a thrust on learner-centered education. Its main campus is located in Taft Avenue, Manila and has two more campuses (Angelo King International Center or AKIC and School of Design and Arts or SDA) adjacent to the main campus.
Benilde offers courses on Design and Arts, Diplomacy and Governance, Management and Information Technology, Deaf Education and Applied Studies, and Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management. The school also offers graduate programs and certificate courses. Students taking courses on Design and Arts take their classes on the SDA Campus while the Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management students take their classes on AKIC campus.
DLS-CSB has become a learning environment that nurtures students to develop their talents and trains them to become professionally competent in established industries and emerging fields of specialization.
