The Master of Science in Chemical Engineering Program equips engineering professionals who are into Research & Development, or material science and engineering, with advanced training in specialized fields of chemical engineering. It drills the students on research and independent study for greater understanding of theories and concepts and how they can be effectively employed for practical uses.

Additional Requirements• 6. Transfer Credential or Honorable Dismissal or Certificate of No Issuance – applicable to non-DLSU graduates who studied in a university or a college in the Philippines. 7. LSU graduates will be asked to fill out an "Application for Transfer Credentials Form", which can be claimed at the Enrollment Services Hub 8. Certificate of Graduation - for applicants who did not earn a college or post graduate degree in the Philippines. Certificate must indicate degree title and date of graduation. 9. An employed applicant may secure a letter of recommendation from his/her current employer, immediate head or his/her own respective Human Resource Department or it's equivalent. The University can, likewise, require this added certificate from international applicants if and when needed. The "Certificate of Eligibility to Pursue Graduate Studies" may be secured from any of the following: (a) school where applicant earned his/her collegiate degree/s, (b) your country's Ministry of Education or it's equivalent, (c) Philippine Embassy in the applicant's country of origin. 9. Photocopy of passport information and current visa page 10. Photocopy of a National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) clearance. The NICA Clearance, which has a 6-month validity, can be obtained from the 3/F Bureau of Immigration Building in Intramuros, Manila. 11. Two (2) Letters of Recommendation (pdf/101kb). All applicants need to complete their documents (except Transfer Credentials/Honorable Dismissal) a week after taking the exams. Incomplete documents will not be endorsed to the department for further evaluation. Kindly check with respective academic departments if an interview is needed for the program. 2. Applicants to the DBA, MBA, and Diploma in Management programs will be asked to submit a CERTIFICATE OF EMPLOYMENT with JOB DESCRIPTION indicating that he/she has work experience doing supervisory or technical/analytical work. DBA applicants need to possess at least five (5) years work experience, MBA applicants at least two (2) years work experience, and Diploma in Management applicants at least one (1) year work experience. 3. WORK EXPERIENCE is needed for the following applicants: DBA (5 years), MBA (2 years), MS in Marketing (2 years), MS in Financial Engineering (2 years), Diploma in Financial Engineering (1 year), Diploma in Management (1 year), Master in Risk and Insurance Management (6 months). 4. DBA applicants are required to submit a thesis or a final paper in the master's program or a final paper in a "Strategy" – related course. 5. MS in Psychology applicants intending to pursue the Industrial/Organizational track (MSPSYIO) need to: (a) be employed upon application and admission to the program since the program does not accept full time students and (b) submit a Certificate of Employment from his/her current employer. This certification must be a current and ongoing employment in a corporate organization that is not a family-owned business of the applicant.
About the Provider
De La Salle University (DLSU) is a private research university in the Philippines and was established in 1911. It started as an elementary and high school institution for boys up until 1920, when the school began offering an Associate Course in Commerce, but still only accepting male students in the program. The university replaced the associate program with Bachelor of Science in Commerce in 1931. It has since expanded with additional colleges under its belt. In 1973, DLSU opened its doors, allowing women to attend the university. From its first campus in Paco, Manila, De La Salle University now has 16 schools across different regions in the country.
At present, De La Salle University has 8 colleges with 36 academic departments and 11 research centers. DLSU’s tradition of excellence has been recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) with the grant of Centers for Excellence and a number of Center of Development awards. Moreover, the institution received a Level IV status from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU) which is the highest accreditation given to a university that exhibits excellence in all operational aspects.
